El Camino Unica

This piece, specifically, holds a certain amount of sentimentality to the artist. Throughout her healing journey, she has come to learn that she is never alone; she always has her own company, and she enjoys it! She has the power to caretake for herself psycho-spiritually. 

The movement of the painting is meant to demonstrate the journey we will likely experience several times throughout our lives: Beginning with the women seated in the dark blue circle with her face in her hands, then showing her sit up, beginning to walk, taking a leap of faith, gaining her wings, and showing her fly to success. Finally, she end up floating above herself, looking down upon the state she began in; head in hands in despair. She will always be there as her own guardian angel. She will support her however she can and she will remind herself that she is not alone - she has herself. 

There are times where one can only solve a problem by themselves. The action begins with each individual's choices and mindset, and this painting is meant to serve as a reminder that YOU can do it. You are never alone.
